We have got our first home, we bought a camper yayyy!!! No, it is not a giant luxury mobile home, it is an old compact camper! Now we have a home everywhere and we don’t have to pay for plane or bus tickets anymore. We can freely move anywhere. What is a Turkish wedding?
Marriage is very important in a person’s life and in Turkish society. When I tell my Turkish friends that marriage is less important in Europe and that lots of people live with their romantic partner without getting married, people get very surprised. Except in a very few areas, you cannot do this in Turkey. In Turkey, virginity is still a very important and sensitive topic, so we see early marriages in Turkey for this reason. (more…)

After studying four years university in teaching you get an exam and depends on your score, you can go to work any city in Turkey. That’s how I have been separated from my best friend. I continued to study master and she has gone to Van as a teacher. From that moment, even though we have seen each other rarely, we have never drifted apart. She got married there and had a son. This is how I am connected to Van. So, after years it was time to visit them and see Van in winter. (more…)
